I'd imagine you wouldn't need to say anything to the FA. Just pushing the button and having the light come on would be enough to make most grown persons re-evaluate their behavior. If you didn't want to cause a scene, just tell the FA that the lady behind you seems to be having trouble with her tray and leave it at that.
