My contact in the Hilton LGW says they are hosting a "shed load" of BA289 passengers. Yes that's Gatwick! They had their own coach this morning at 09 hrs to take them back to LHR. These are WT passengers, or extended families, or so I've been told.
Just confirmed in the queue at T5C Starbucks that indeed many economy passengers were sent to the Hilton near Gatwick.

Also thanks c-w-s for the transit walkway photos, that gave our daughters a fun pre-flight adventure on the "secret" passage this morning!
