I'm paying to use the airport facilities - a separate charge on my ticket ("Passenger Service Fee"). It is far from free!

For this fee I expect the airport to provide amenities that I need when travelling, such as toilet facilities, drinking water, shelter and a comfortable environment (temperature, lighting, etc), seating areas while I wait, electrical power for electronic devices, etc.

Whether the airport is a public space may be debatable to some people, but since I am paying to enter it and access is controlled, it seems unlikely.
