Have you ever thought about becoming a market leader instead of a follower? Saying you are re aligning with North American competition is such a cop out. Latin America yields are quite healthy that can/should easily cover the >$5 you spend on a Y meal.
If your strategy is all about alignment, I would suspect AP YQ to be dropped, reinstatement of the 2 hour flat tire rule, and 100% AQM on N.American tango tickets to be the next items to be enhanced in order to maintain competitive alignment.
