And here is my final bonus quiz item....

35) In 1983, there was no nonstop service between Washington National (DCA) and Los Angeles (LAX) as such flights had yet to be permitted. Thus, a number of airlines over the years operated direct, one stop service between DCA and LAX. And in 1983, one air carrier in particular was operating two round trip flights on a direct, one stop basis between Washington National and Los Angeles. The flights were operated daily and these eastbound and westbound flights made the same intermediate stop in both directions. Westbound, flights departed DCA at 7:00am and 5:40pm. Eastbound, flights departed LAX at 7:55am and 12:10pm. The same aircraft type was operated on all four flights.

Identify the airline that operated these flights as well as the intermediate stop and the equipment.
