The only time I've missed a connection "running" in the past two years was at IAH. It was a 40-minute domestic-international. I knew it was risky, but it was the only way to make my plans work. Usually the gamble works out for all the obvious reasons; this time: trip in vain.

I only do < 1h at IAH now when connecting to Express flights.
