Maybe, maybe not. I think the cargo on the route often makes up for any seats that may or may not be sold. If the route wasn't viable there wouldn't be two 777Ws every day, there would be one A330 - there is obviously something on the route that justifies two of those every day.

I refuse to be drawn in to the MAN / LHR debate and which is better and which isn't for potential passengers out of BHX.
