Recently flew a couple of legs YYZ-PHX... in the bulkhead in J on the left hand side (1A 1C) ... lots of room and you would have no issues if on a similar configuration. As already mentioned, however, the right-hand-side (1D,1F) you would hit the bulkhead with your legs ... I am 5'11" and I would not be comfortable on that side of the plan in J.

It seems the most of the 319's I have flown recently have the additional room on the r.h.s. I hope that they are all being reconfigured in a similar fashion so all 319's are the same.
