I've never had to carry that much around, though I'd be surprised if UPS or similar was not a great deal cheaper than taking it on your flight. It's also much less of a hassle as I suspect you'll have to be reunited with your luggage at HKG (I'm not sure CX and DragonAir interline on an ex-US flight). I would certainly get a quote for it.
