Hey everyone!

Had a great 1 year trip in China thanks to all of the help everyone on here has provided me!

Now its my second time to go back to Beijing, China. However I have some important questions, that I cant seem to really find out a solid answer.

I will be flying:

American Airlines (First Class) #5497 from PHX to LAX
Cathay Pacific (Premium Economy) #897 from LAX to HKG
DragonAir (Economy) #904 from HKG to PEK

I need to bring extra baggage with me. So I was thinking:

1 clothes bag, super tightly packed. 50 Lbs.
1 Pelican Case 1660. 31.59" x 22.99" x 19.48" Packed with electronics gear. Maybe 150 lbs.

I know I will have overages, but how much? Whats a safe number that I will have to pay....

Any lastly, I have a UPS account and I prefer to ship some things there since I will be living and working there for 2 years (employment visa and all), but I can't seem to find solid information on what is allowed to be shipping, customs, costs, etc. I was hoping someone on here has gone through it and could give me a better idea, or a company that handles it all.
