I'll have a mid-afternoon international arrival on UA from FCO, followed by a several hour layover before my connecting flight. Carry-on only. Wondering what's the best way for me to reach the LH lounge - should I do the mid-field immigration or go to the main terminal as if IAD were my final destination? I've heard the mid-field security re-check can be a CF. I have GE and should therefore also have TSA Pre.
