It might be risky to leave it for that long, but I've stashed luggage in lounge closets in order to go out into the concourse and get dinner. I'm not sure anyone even noticed. But a safer bet might be to check it with one of the hotels in downtown Chicago. I've done that before and no one even asked if I was checking in.
