On a related note, I have noticed (thankfully, I might add) a stricter enforcement of priority boarding at LHR and some outstations. There still seem to be a disproportionate number of people with priority boarding, rendering the whole concept pretty moot.

I personally would prefer to see boarding done in strict groups, so that each queue is theoretically shorter, and the benefit extended to partners, since it seems stupid that husband and wife can't board together.
