These upgrades are generally only confirmed in the last 24 hours before the flight. On a recent departure from LHR the F cabin went from a displayed load of 6 the day before to every seat full on departure.
Great info. I wasn't aware of this. I'm glad I picked a seat in the A column then, as they are, from what I've heard, more private than the F and K columns.
