From a current economic operations AS is doing fine, the newer birds and scheduling has paid off. Down the road I think is where the possible "bumps" are.

First there is DL and it's impact short and long term.

Second is HA and their future delivery of the new single isle AB's which as they have indicated will fuel an expansion in their schedules on the west coast. AS has done an incredible job with filling the void left by Aloha and expanding that opportunity. They quickly pivoted from Mexico to Hawaii. Great job there.

Expansion eastward has apparently paid off I for one have used the routing for my trips averaging 6 - 8 a year.

What will be interesting is AS is a point to point carrier not a spoke to hub. So do they change that ?

Finally I do like their "partners" internationally and hope that those stay in place if DL goes by by.
