US and AA merged in December thus you can't compare this quarter's numbers to last years'. I haven't looked at the 10-Q and it's been awhile since I took consolidated financials in college, so I don't know if they have segment reporting to show what portion of the revenues derived from US and AA. But combining the 5th and 3rd largest airlines would obviously generate more revenues than just the 3rd largest airlines as a standalone.
Still the PRASM is comparable and it's good to see an uptick. Hopefully it will take some pressure off management to keep cost cutting and start differentiating on service instead...But then again I have no reason to believe that will happen...
