I have flown both airlines to FRA from YYZ (last year however before AC's new J class). I found LH to be more polished in their service, and the seats to be in better shape, and a better video system.

I would have to say for me it came down to the LH plane was a very very new feeling A340-300 and the AC metal was an older, more rundown feeling B747-400.
