However, they never ask for anything beyond member numbers, address, email. And, if you enter just "joinmarriottrewards.com" (without the /united), or if you try /delta or /american instead, it does direct you to the full / legit MR site.
Marriott loves to use new domain names for anything different, theres a whole compendium of them here:
