DL may have legitimately feared, followed by the FAA. If Israel successfully convinced the FAA that there's nothing to fear, who's to say the FAA didn't convince DL?

Are you sure? Cable news is reporting that UA will fly to TLV today (departing) but DL and US haven't decided yet. Also check flight status for DL468. On the DL app, it just shows in gray for yesterday, today, and tomorrow with no indication of on time/cancelled/delayed/diverted/etc.
DL seems pretty sure, judging by the very website (their own) that you quoted in your post
