This reminds me of my Rimowa VAT saga... getting that Customs stamp can be so difficult. After ordering from Koffer-direkt and having the luggage delivered to our hotel in Germany, our flight was too early in the am to get the stamp. Fast forward a month, we're leaving the EU through BUD airport but they won't stamp it because it's the wrong paperwork. Fast forward another month, I get the actual VAT form and have it stamped in FRA.

Only good part of the story - I get the full 19% back (i.e directly from the company and not through GB) and the euro has up in the interval so a few extra $...
