Acquire the DL Amex card before 2015 SM changeover?
I am scheduled to take more Delta flights out of Seattle then AS in the future. I think that trend will continue.

In the interest of starting to acquire SkyMiles ( my current balance is 603 ) I'd like to boost up my balance.

Is there any advantage to getting a DL AmEx card before the 2015 SM changeover?

( I did peruse the 850+ posts thread on the 2015 program...but couldn't find an answer to this question.)
