I am seriously considering the RC card and like some of the new benefits. Had a couple of questions:

1) The $100 hotel credit on 2+ night stays, is that ongoing i.e. not just a 1 time, 1 stay thing ?

2) I see authorized users are free on this card as opposed to $175 each on the Amex Plat. My question is what of the perks of the RC card do authorized users get (if any) fresh and to themselves. For example if I (primary card holder) use the $300 airline credit or club certificate upgrades doe the authorized users share the same pool or as in the case of some AMEX Plat perks, get their own as an authorized user ?

3) For joe blow user like me, can I use the upgrade certs to club level at the prices advertised on the RC web site ? The reason I ask is there is a lot of talk about some people having to pay higher and others say they didn't, trying to figure out which is right. Are users here stating that they had to pay higher than a corporate or other discount and that is the issue or are you saying that you are paying even higher than the stated preferred rate on the web site ?
