No - this route is one of the highlights of the route network.
It was previously haemorrhaging cash and it was very close to being axed (well - the SIN-SYD sector anyway). I think that the QF thing has really helped BA - DXB is not a nice transit when you are connecting at 3am compared to SIN which for both Brits and Aussies both ways its not too bad. Also the 777-300 fuel burn is much better and this has really helped with profit on the route.
I think that if they did put more Australia on it would have to be via somewhere else than SIN. The BA 11/12 is going to take the A380 and, unless this route has really rocketed, I cannot quite see it getting the A380 (this would also use 25% of the A380 fleet to run!) Whether something via HKG with a 3rd daily flight would work (so an A380 to HKG, 777-300 on to Australia and a 777-200 to HKG) I'm not sure as I gather HKG has also been doing quite well these days. Then you have the possibility that KUL might get opened up in the future....
