AA do it much better with their sequence and by-and-large they enforce it pretty vigorously. The only problem (and I can't really see a way around it) is that people tend to line up as if they are about to board when in reality they've not been called. This means that polite people like me end up waiting behind them until it becomes completely obvious that they are not actually going anywhere!
Resist the urge to be
too polite!
