Let me make this reallly simple.

If they are customer-facing, ask for a reprint of your boarding pass. It will imprint the airport, workstation, and enough of their login information so that DL can trace it back to the employee. If they rebooked you, their sine is part of your PNR.... if they gave you anything or did anything to your record.... the employees information is in your PNR.

Heck, I've had DYKWIAs who have asked for my full name and literally threw a tantrum when I wouldn't give them my last name. I told them that my information is all on their record and you can refer to me in your complaint as my first name and they will know who I am... as I'm the only one here with that name.
