TPE is on the sheltered side of the island, so I would doubt they would need to evac planes unless they have really bad luck with a major storm direct hit.

The weather has been messy in that neck of the woods for a while. As I was leaving TPE->LAX Sun night, almost all flights had minor ground delays. A week earlier, NRT was slow because they had to turn the runways around due to wind (have no idea how common that is, I have never seen it before).
