Hello,

I am travelling MAN-AMM via LHR with BA this Wednesday, and had a question regarding security at MAN and LHR.

I normally take a small backpack as hand luggage and a small suitcase as hold luggage. However, given the small size, I figured I may as well just take both bags as hand luggage (travelling in CW to AMM) and save myself the hassle of the ridiculously long wait for my bag at AMM and also the (small) possibility of my bag being lost/delayed.

The issue is, the suitcase will have a few containers of protein supplements in powder form. None of the containers are sealed, they are all sort of half empty. One kind is also a pretty foul smelling fine white powder, which to be honest would look kind of suspicious.

Any ideas if I will experience any issues taking these through security, either at MAN or LHR? I've never had issues taking them in my hold luggage before, but it would be great if I could make this trip HBO for a change.
