I am new to maximizing points and know nothing about choosing the best airline. I was originally drawn to United because they allow open jaw tickets and a stopover. But that would be 130,000 points per person which seems like a lot. I have minimal points but am about to go on a credit card signup spree so I'm open to anything. I have a year until this trip but would like to book flights in the next few months.
Here are my questions:
Which airlines offer open jaw tickets for less than 130,000 an operates in Atlanta, Istanbul and Athens?
What are the chances that I'll be able to book 3 award tickets on the same flight with that airline?
United should be the easiest, united is part of star-alliance, so you a few choices in terms of airlines. If you fly in coach it shouldn't be 130k, you should look for saver awards 60k.
Chase have several business cards (ink family) with nice bonuses.
