I recently did BOS-LHR with a 10.45pm departure, and I thought it was definitely worth it, but I grant you perhaps only due to special circumstances:
  • My ticket involved BA, AY, AA all in C (I/J) and probably would not have priced out much less if the BA segments were in WTP
  • I had the 2 front rows of F to myself (747) and explicit service
  • I had arrived at the lounge very early and had dinner at 6pm so I was hungry again once in the flight
  • The CSD presented herself for a chat and the CC were excellent

A shame that the BOS lounge does not have showers but then that is a shame for F and C passengers alike.
