Japanese domestic connections, id say arriving 3 hrs in advance is crazy all you need is 30 minutes. Security will be a breeze.
with the exception if you are connecting to an international flight which I recall you have to give 10 minute more leeway for the longer time required for check-in.

For the bus from susukino, it takes ~ 70 minute to go to Sapporo http://www.chuo-bus.co.jp/highway/ai...c=2520&trjs=19

I would recommend to do JR instead
