Today at the exit booth of DCA I asked for a form to document some large dings and scrapes. I was told "The cameras will record it"

This is the first time I have heard about this and think it is a little suspect. How can I access this video proof of prior damage should a problem arise at return (or months later)? Or is this more likely an employee making new policies up?

I'm interested to hear if others have been told of video damage surveillance when checking out.
