Over the years I've seen many an aircraft come down for whatever reason, its always sad but this one for some reason has affected me really badly. I'm worried about what will happen if/when it'll come out how the rebels got a hold of the missile launcher, and I feel really really sad for all the innocent victims. This is probably largely influenced by me having grown up in Finland and the general attitude towards anything Russian you get instilled with, but as a frequent flyer and a member of the FT community I can't help but feel completely and utterly speechless and helpless. May the souls onboard MH17 rest in peace, and I truly hope that justice will be done and the bodies responsible for this will be punished accordingly.
