OP - take the earlier advice to document location, exact time, situation, airline-related transaction, etc. and most likely the person can be tracked, especially if any computer/phone interaction were involved.
Not really a law that they must tell you but if this was in a SIDA they should have had a badge on...
49 CFR 1542.205(b)(1) which refers to 49 CFR 1542.211:
(2) Procedures to ensure that each individual in the secured area or SIDA continuously displays the identification medium issued to that individual on the outermost garment above waist level, or is under escort
