Electric cart at MSP or grab a wheelchair yourself and wheel your mom to the new gate.

Looking at flightaware.com, you can monitor where the flights tend to arrive, depart from. Today the BWI came into the C gates and LAX left from the G gates. Using the shortcut C->G takes about 10 mins.
