Traveling on DL w/ elderly parent - 3 questions

I'm traveling next month with my 73 y/o mom on a "bucket list" trip for her to LA for a TV show taping. Mom has a heart condition and has flown three times in her life so I'm trying to make this as easy for her as possible. She CAN (and does walk) btw. so my three questions are:
1) I have TSA pre-check, assuming I get it on the day of travel, can she go through Pre-check w/ me or do I just opt not to do it and stay in the regular Security line w/ her. (flying out of BWI BTW)
2) we have one tight connection in MSP on the way there and I've asked for a wheelchair b/c although mom can walk, she doesn't walk quickly and running is out of the question. Does the wheelchair service operate efficiently or should I be prepared to NOT have it once we deplane in MSP? BTW, I DO realize that the wheelchair service is neither owned by nor operated by Delta.
3) are there any other services for seniors which DL offers which I wouldn't know about b/c I never travel w/ seniors?
Thanks, as always, for any thoughtful replies!
