As mentioned there, you need to split the journey if there is no BA service or direct services. So I can see some availability on those dates by splitting it into two searches, via DFW or ORD for example. If there was a direct service from EWR to MSY it would show up, but if changing aircraft you would need to split the query. So reverse engineering this from AA, if you have a Saver award showing up there, find out the precise route and then try that in ba.com
