Trouble Using Avios on AA or US Airways Flights

Hi,
I've read throughout the internet, that you should be able to book AAdvantage Mileage Saver flights with Avios miles. I'm looking at flights, and am able to find AAdvantage Mileage Saver Flights on AA's website, but they don't show up under the British Airways portal. Has anyone ever experienced this and is there a way to force BA to book the flight?

I'm looking for either a round trip or one-way (either leg) flights from NYC/PHL to MSY for Oct 23-26, 2014.
