Only mildly annoying for changing/viewing the reservation in the future as long as you have your reservation handy. Much more annoying in that it doesn't pre-fill the EAPIS info and you have to fill out manually what is automatic if you use BR's FFP.
All I know is that when I log into Eva's site, using my Eva FF number, then enter my Eva confirmation number try to check my seats, I receive a message that my record can not be found.
I log out of Eva, stay on the site, then go to "Change my Seats" enter my Eva confirmation or United e-ticket number and presto, I can see my seating selections.
