EVA use the 77A during TPE daytime for regional short haul flights, regularly to Saigon, Macau and lately Beijing.

The new 77A would never be used for Jakarta because of the long flight turn around, arriving back in TPE after 8pm, while the 77As have to leave for JFK and LAX around 7pm. They use the older 77N to cope with the increased load during the upcoming Ramadan holiday.
