Why 2 seats for pilots?
777-200 Intl 3-class
Pilot: suite 2A for XQ planes, 2A & 2K for XJ planes.

1. Whats XQ vs XJ?

2. Why are 2 seats (out of 8) required for pilots? Assuming it's long haul and there are 3 crew in the cockpit, doesn't that only leave 1?

BTW, I just noticed today that the 2 seats are now completely removed from the seat picker, i.e. they don't even show up, as opposed to just showing being occupied.
