This is an issue between OP and his employer. His situation likely means that his employer has negotiated a discount (corporate rate) which does not include points. Hilton will, of course, give a greater discount -- cheaper rate -- if it does not have to pay out points which amount to a liability on its books.

Before trying end arounds, I would speak to the employer. They have likely done this for a reason, e.g. to save money.
