I applied yesterday as well, did NOT get immediate acceptance (which I usually do). I called the App Status number (888-201-4523) twice and was told my app is being processed. I also tried the 800-695-5171 number today and was told the same thing, that it's "being processed" and it will take 7 to 10 business days. Bummer because I'm waiting to get this card to purchase $4000 worth of new appliances for my kitchen.
Also, I'm thinking that the application link in the WIKI of this thread (posted by LM225) is dead again. That's whats being reported by MileValue at the very top of this blog (and when you click on the link you get an error message):
