This is TMI, but I think you are saying that even though you don't have a good case, AA should make an exception for you because you are someone special.
Elsewhere you appear to confuse credit card fraud (where there is a limit on liability) with FF miles fraud. As others have said, the miles have been used and so they are gone, AA is not going to return the cost of a flight (something with significant monetary value) to you. The best you can hope for is that they waive the reinstatement fee for the miles that have not been used, but I suspect that mentioning your Ivy league background will not make a difference.
