Decent if not barn-burningly fast processor, modest but acceptable gig of memory, 8gb of storage (but has an SD card slot.) Nice screen, at a decent midrange size (4.5"). A little thick compared to pricier phones, but not a brick.
While the LTE itself is not that useful for non-US use, it's still worth the $40 premium over the the non-LTE Moto G ($179) which has fewer UMTS bands so that you need to choose between the US version and the International one, plus no MicroSD card slot.
What about the Lumia 630 or Galaxy S4 mini ?
