Well, I suppose the bright side, if you can call it that, is that we'll now have the Brits and Germans contributing more to our tax coffers, just as we contribute to theirs. The German ATC is increasing its charges by 30% to cover its pension costs. More Canadian money paying for foreigners' welfare. Might as well get them to pay for ours, eh?
