Hi all,

My company has a contract with a travel agency and everything is done/paid through them. My credit card is used just for incidentals.

After trying to get points for my stays at Hilton, I got a message from HHonors saying that I don't get points when the reservation is made and paid by the agency.

Is this true for all hotel reward programs? Why do airlines let us business travelers keep the miles and hotels don't?
