Moto G LTE, $219, worldphone quad-band on 2G voice, pentaband UMTS (850, 900, 1700, 1900, 2100 MHz) which is as near a worldphone as I'm aware of anyone actually selling you can get, and a bunch of mostly-US-specific LTE (Bands 2, 4, 5, 17 // 1900, 1700, 850, 700 MHz)

Decent if not barn-burningly fast processor, modest but acceptable gig of memory, 8gb of storage (but has an SD card slot.) Nice screen, at a decent midrange size (4.5"). A little thick compared to pricier phones, but not a brick.

While the LTE itself is not that useful for non-US use, it's still worth the $40 premium over the the non-LTE Moto G ($179) which has fewer UMTS bands so that you need to choose between the US version and the International one, plus no MicroSD card slot.
