El Bait Shop - Des Moines Iowa

Link

I have not been yet, but will be visiting my middle son and his girlfriend this weekend and they have promised to take me.

I am back and I liked El Bait SHop a lot. We counted 116 taps on the wall. Having come from the Des Moines Brewfest, we lacked the capacity to try more than 2.

The Nook - Huntsville, Alabama

I have been here several times visiting my oldest son and his wife. The food is pretty good as well. Not a fancy place by any means, but comfortable.

Fishale - Panama City Beach, Florida

Fishale has to be mentioned here since it is one of my local hangouts. I avoid during spring break, but otherwise have no trouble getting a stool at the bar. As the name implies, there is seafood (and other stuff) in addition to beer. I usually opt for the mahi sliders and the hoppiest ale on tap. The servers here know their beer and will guide you if you ask.

My daughter, Miss BamaVol, was in town for the weekend. I sent her and her husband, BamaBama, to Fishale Sunday night while we watched the grandson. She texted me that they had arrived on "dollar beer night". Needless to say, it was a late night.
