Marriott's perspective is that it's just one brand, they're not all in BKK and same price as a FS, and that extended stay properties don't get the same amount of nights/stay credit.

If the price at the exec apts are the same $$ as the FS properties & you want the points/night credit, then stay at the FS. If you want the space of an apt, then you're going to have to suck it up & deal w/ the lesser points/night credit. It's your choice.

Again, some points in an exec apt are better than no points in a non-rewards apt.
