While it may be true no credit card numbers were revealed, the actual CC on file was visible, as well as other information about my Aeroplan that I do consider private. That several here have seen my account balances is no different than having my bank account balances displayed, or discovering after the fact that there are video cameras in changing rooms of a clothing store. I have been exposed and unknown to me, viewed by how many others.
This time, I cannot accept Ms Cooke's cavalier statement. How would CanadaTrust|TD respond if the wrong account information showed up when I logged onto my web banking screen, revealing not only those details but the name and address of the account holder? I emailed the SE Desk yesterday after this happened, and will hopefully receive a response later today.
